WHAT
IS NARC-KENYA AND WHO IS BEHIND IT? A rickety political contraption called Narc-Kenya has been set up by the thieving ruling class
in our country principally to perpetuate the politics of deceit and to try to
re-install the rotten capitalist ruling class in power come the December 2007
General elections. Led “under cover” by Dictator Mwai Kibaki and his Kikuyu
elite, the unstated agenda of this latest “rich man’s Party” is to hijack the
political process using the state machine Kibaki
controls and to retain power on the hands of the few and corrupt members of
Kikuyu ruling class also responsible for the political marginalization of
more than 41 ethnic groups in Kenya. The emergence of Narc-Kenya did not surprise the Kenya Scandinavia Democratic Movement (KESDEMO). Since riding to power on a popular anti-KANU/anti-Moi wave in December 2002, the Kibaki dictatorship has been in deep crisis. The Narc coalition has virtually disintegrated due to numerous factors namely; lack of a common unifying ideology, brazen political conmanship exemplified by Kibaki’s betrayal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), overt tribalism and nepotism in government, dictatorial tendencies in Kibaki’s style of leadership, rampant corruption within the rotten ruling class, persistent power struggles, battle for control of the coalition, failure to deliver on basic election promises and endless political infighting which has wrecked the coalition. Under the ensuing uncertainty, the corrupt Kikuyu ruling class has detected that it will be Party-less come elections in December next year because the Coalition known as Narc is already a dead entity. Last November, the Kikuyu ruling elite got scared to death after it lost the Referendum on a new Constitution, a devastating defeat that underlined the impossibility of this elite seizing state power for the second time using Kikuyu votes alone. The emergence of the pro-capitalist Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has complicated the situation for Kikuyu fat cats in government and their corrupt accomplices from other ethnic groups. The creation of Narc-Kenya (DP) amounts to the creation of a new home for the Kibaki cabal which believes that the new Party will foster their presence in the struggle for power come the December 2007 elections. NARC-KENYA: GEMA-MEGA AND DEMOCRATIC PARTY (DP) IN DISGUISE From its composition, Narc-Kenya is a camouflage of three chauvinistic and ethnic Kikuyu formations which have failed in the past to ascend to power and whose sole objective is to maintain Kikuyu dominance of all arms of the Kenyan government. These organizations include the defunct Gikuyu-Meru-Embu Association (GEMA), the Mega Welfare Society (a reincarnation of GEMA) and the fragile Kikuyu dominated Democratic Party (DP) headed by President Kibaki. The strategy of Narc-Kenya is to place itself at a vantage point to compete with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) that is increasingly becoming a major political factor in Kenya and creating head ache to Kikuyus looting the State. Ideologically, there is no fundamental difference between the new Narc-Kenya contraption and the ODM boggy being piloted by former Moi loyalists who are both ideologically bankrupt and politically ethnic. Neither Narc-Kenya nor ODM is challenging the rotten capitalist system that KESDEMO believes, is the main problem in Kenya. After 43 years of fake independence and three Dictators in power (Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel arap Moi and now Mwai Kibaki), Kenyans will once again go to the polls next year without a political alternative. KESDEMO views the struggle in Kenya as a process where at one point, a Socialist alternative will have to emerge, not just to give direction to the anti-capitalist struggle but also to pave the way for the Socialist revolution in Kenya. In the meantime, what is Narc-Kenya and who are the political gangsters behind it? Narc-Kenya is the latest point of convergence of imperialist lap dogs led by a rotten class of wealth grabbers from the Kikuyu elites who have teamed up with compromised traitors, reactionaries and apologists from other ethnic groups who have joined the corrupt millionaire class at the top of the Kenyan government. The Kikuyu political gangsters and home guards in Narc-Kenya are well known for their discrimination of poor Kikuyu workers, peasants, students, hawkers, orphans, landless aids sufferers and millions of unemployed Kikuyu youth suffering under the system alongside other oppressed and marginalized Kenyans across the country. The open strategy of Kibaki and his “gang members” is to hide under Narc-Kenya until the general elections scheduled for December next year. For this reason, the real identities of the major players behind the party are still under wraps. What is known is that 51MPs loyal to Kibaki (including 15 political prostitutes sitting in the Cabinet) participated in the recent launching of the Party. From KESDEMO’s analysis, the top guns hiding behind the Party are: Dictator and long standing traitor Mwai Kibaki, Vice president Moody Awori, Njenga Karume (Minister of Defence), John N. Michuki (Minister of Internal security), Martha Karua (Minister of Justice), Kiraitu Murungi (Ex Cabinet Minister), Chris Murungaru (Ex cabinet Minister), David Mwiraria (Ex Cabinet Minister), Prof George Saitoti (fake Massai, professional looter and ex Minister), Professor Kivutha Kibwana (Cabinet Minister), Koigi wa Wamwere (Assistant Minister), Norman Nyaga (Kamukunji MP), Beth Wambui Mugo (Assistant Minister), Jane Kihara (MP-Naivasha), William Kabogo (Juja MP) among others. All the ex Ministers were demoted after they were named in the mega Anglo-Leasing corruption scandal that has dogged the Kibaki regime since 2004 and exposed the extent of decay in government. The small names being pushed publicly to front for the party include Danson Mungata, Raphael Tuju, Gideon Konchellah, Stephen Tarus, Mutua Katuku, Joe Wanjui (University of Nairobi Chancellor), Peter Kanyago (Head of Express Kenya, a giant freight forwarding firm), Nathaniel Kang’ethe (Advertising magnate close to Kibaki), George Muhoho (brother of Kenyatta’s widow), Peter Kuguru (an industrialist and Chairman of Mega), Nduati Kariuki (former MP of Makuyu and Mega Vice Chairman) among other names which have featured in the world of corruption in Kenya. A quick examination of key figures behind Narc-Kenya could give a better clue about the developing political conspiracy that will deepen tribalism in Kenya, prolong theft of public funds, postpone liberation from capitalism and promote vicious power struggles between the ruling Kikuyu elite and other ethnic representatives positioning themselves in new and opportunistic ethnic Alliances that have no agenda of fighting capitalism in our devastated country. TRAITOR MOODY: AWORI (ALSO KNOWN AS
“UNCLE MOODY”) Traitor Moody Awori, a core member of Narc-Kenya, is the Vice President, former sycophant of former Dictator Daniel arap Moi and top economic criminal in Kibaki’s government. Since he jumped ship from Moi’s KANU party into Narc, his job has been centered around boot-licking and worshipping Mount Kenya Mafia in return for largesse and opportunities to loot the country’s economy using his position as Vice president. Awori was one of the key thieves named by the exiled corruption buster John Githongo as having been deeply involved in the mega Anglo-leasing corruption scandal which is responsible for the huge loss of credibility in Kibaki’s government. Awori is also a living witness of the multi-billion Goldenberg scandal that played itself out when he was in government. Today, he continues to preside over fake reforms in prisons which are, in reality, death chambers in Kenya. At the Meru GK prison where prisoner deaths have been reported in the past, over 1,300 inmates were reported in the press as having been gripped “with the fear of death” because they are crammed in a space meant for 350 people. From the point of view of KESDEMO, Awori is in Narc-Kenya to protect his ill gotten wealth and to try his luck at capturing his Parliamentary seat in his Bunyala constituency. Because of his dwindling popularity, Awori is one of the key Kibaki allies who failed to deliver votes from his constituency during the referendum, a gigantic failure which means that he may never get back to Parliament because the people of Bunyala have already seen through his conspiratorial schemes. Moody Awori, who hails from the Luhya ethnic group, is in an elitist Kikuyu Party because he is part of the conspiratorial capitalist ruling class whose main agenda in Kenyan politics is to loot and plunder the Kenyan economy, not to represent the interests of Bukusu people as he claims. KESDEMO believes that Awori is one of the numerous Kenyan thieves living on borrowed time and if KESDEMO were in power, Awori could be arrested, chained, brought to face justice (for economic and other crimes dating back to the period of the Moi dictatorship) and caged for life in a special prison if found guilty. Strictly speaking, members of KESDEMO believe that the likes of Awori should not be loitering around freely to join destructive parties like Narc-Kenya, a party of traitors and propagating politics which is anti-development, anti-revolution and anti the suffering people of Kenya. NJENGA KARUME: KIBAKI’s BOOT-LICKER ADICTED TO POLITICS OF OPPORTUNISM Njenga Karume,
a member of Narc-Kenya, is a political prostitute (kigeugeu) who
will support any thug in power as long as his economic interests are taken
care of. Even as he was being handed over the Ministry of Defense, it was
public knowledge that Karume is one of the main
looters of Kenya Planters Cooperative Union (KPCU) where a total of Ksh 3 billion was looted by politicians with Karume’s debt totaling to Ksh
32 million through Cianda Investment. Recently, Karume’s constituents demonstrated in protest at his
grabbing of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) when major roads in his
home town were in a state of disrepair and his constituents are living in
abject poverty. Karume is a land grabber who is
known to have stolen Karume is one of the most unpatriotic MP sitting in Kibaki’s Cabinet. After he was appointed by Kibaki as Minister of Defense, he secretly signed a five year contract with the British government to allow British soldiers to kill, maim, rape and humiliate Kenyans during their destructive military training operations at Archers Post in North Eastern Province. After their training, the British soldiers are normally sent to Iraq and Afghanistan to murder innocent children and women. Karume sealed the deal despite an outstanding compensation case of Ksh 20 million filed by Massais who suffered serious atrocities and unspeakable human rights violations at the hands of British soldiers during past training sessions in North Eastern Province. The secrecy with which the deal was signed was so deep that not even Parliament knew about it. Today Njenga Karume is one of the topmost political hypocrites in Kenya. He dumped Kibaki and supported Uhuru Kenyatta (Moi project 1) as Presidential candidate in 2002 but after the project failed, Karume used his skills as an accomplished political prostitute to find his way into Kibaki’s Cabinet. Njenga Karume, the late Kihika Kimani (former MP of Nakuru), the late Kariuki Chotara (former MP), the late Jackson Angaine (former Minister in Keyatta government), the late Mbiyu Koinange (former Minister of State in Kenyatta’s government), the late James Gichuru (former Minister of Defense), Njoroge Mungai (former personal doctor of Kenyatta) and others were the engineers of tribalistic oath taking rituals in 1969 by members of the Kikuyu ethnic groups after the assassination of Tom Mboya the same year. The agenda of the oaths was to ensure that the political leadership in Kenya never leaves the “House of Mumbi”. Today, millions of Kenyan shillings that Karume and his fellow thieves collected from poor impressionable Kikuyus during the oaths have never been accounted for. Karume's business empire originated from illegal timber logging which has been causing enormous deforestation and environmental degradation in Kenya. Karume is the leading distributor of beer in Kenya, a commodity that is destroying Kenyan youth in their millions through public advertisements which, KESDEMO believes, should be banned. As a leading member of the new Narc-Kenya Party, Karume will simply find a new base upon which to continue committing crimes against the Kenyan people. The point is that Narc-Kenya is a dirty party that will simply prolong the suffering of Kenyans. Using ill-gotten wealth, Njenga Karume is the main financier of Mwai Kibaki's Democratic Party (DP) and now GEMA-MEGA alliance which, in reality, excludes Meru and Embu people. The name GEMA-MEGA is being used by Kikuyu elites to take power in the name of members of the “House of Mumbi” even though it doesn’t have a wide Kikuyu support. KESDEMO believes that Njenga Karume is a thief who should be arrested by the next government, tried and if found guilty, caged for life in a special maximum security prison. KOIGI WA WAMWERE: A RADICAL TURNED TRAITOR AND CLASS COLLABORATOR Forces behind KESDEMO have worked with and knows Koigi wa Wamwere as a person who has suffered tremendously under two brutal regimes, first under Jomo Kenyatta who detained and tortured him and under Dictator Daniel arap Moi who also detained and tortured him for the second time. Wamwere was later forced into exile in both Norway and the United States. Wamwere’s political tribulations began because of his defense of squatters in Kenya and his struggle against capitalist exploitation of millions of Kenyans who were suffering under brutal capitalist regimes. During his political persecution, Wamwere styled himself as a radical leftist who was committed to the abolition of capitalism in Kenya. Many Kenyans believed him and saw him as a revolutionary who could lead the struggle for revolutionary change and transformation. On the basis of his suffering, Wamwere was viewed as a hero by Kenyan youth from all walks of life. But that was then. After he returned from exile and got elected to Parliament in 2002, Wamwere was the first MP who supported the legalized looting of tax payer’s money by MPs through the increment of MPs salaries and allowances to more than one Ksh 1 million. He has been a supporter of the recent increment of MPs mileage allowance while he never opposed the scandal-ridden increment of MP-controlled Constituency Development Fund (CDF) from Ksh 20 million to 100 million! Although he returned from exile a poor man, Wamwere declared publicly that he was worth Ksh 15 million less than three years after he joined Parliament. How did he make his millions? Since he joined the millionaire class, Wamwere has been a stumbling block in the struggle for a new Constitution, an irritating irrelevance in the struggle for democracy and human rights and an active agent of political confusion in Kenya. Members of KESDEMO watched with horror as Wamwere dropped his Leftist profile, eventually emerging as a mouth piece of the new pro-capitalist Kikuyu thieves who had just taken over the state machine. When Kibaki refused to appoint him into the Cabinet, Wamwere cooled down his pro-Kibaki rhetoric until the run-up to the 2005 November referendum on a new constitution. During the referendum campaigns, Wamwere’s haphazard comments and confused analysis in the capitalist media assumed a disturbingly ethnic line as Kikuyu chauvinism took root in his new political perspective. He began to defend and praise the thieving Kibaki’s administration while at the same time attacking anti-Kibaki forces and other progressives. He joined the rotten Banana camp during the referendum before his team suffered a devastating defeat at the hand s of the Orange Democratic Movement. He then went silent! The case of Wamwere, who has joined the Narc-Kenya bandwagon, is pathetic because it is a clear demonstration that detention without trial, political persecution, imprisonment on political grounds and years in forced exile are no guarantees that a promising Kenyan revolutionary cannot be consumed by sharks in the high seas of Kenyan capitalism. A key feature of Wamwere’s “radical background” is that despite his “Leftist profile” he never swore allegiance to any Socialist revolutionary Program. Much of the documents available in KESDEMO’s archive show that Wamwere was more of a radical nationalist who was using anti-imperialist rhetoric to position himself as a Leftist while in reality, he was never a revolutionary socialist. KESDEMO believes that Wamwere is gone for ever and would advise Kenyans who believe in the Socialist revolution to ignore him. His involvement with the Narc-Kenya Party is evidence that he has given up on the anti-imperialist struggle. He will go down as a class collaborator who switched sides at a critical time when personalities like him could have been spear-heading the struggle for a revolutionary socialist Workers Party in Kenya or an alternative force to fight capitalism in our country. PROFESSOR KIVUTHA KIBWANA: INTELLECTUALS AND THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST STRUGGLE Before he entered politics, Professor Kivutha Kibwana used to be a very progressive intellectual. Although he was not radical or holding clear anti-capitalist positions, Kibwana was an intellectual who became very vocal against human rights violations and other crimes especially of the past two dictatorships in Kenya. His level of radicalism at that time did not place him as an intellectual who could work with traitor Kibaki. Today, Kibwana is in the thick of Narc-Kenya, not just defending a corrupt and evil regime that has lost credibility but also serving the regime as a Cabinet Minister. The Kivutha example should warn all Kenyans that intellectuals alone will not liberate Kenya from imperialist domination and capitalist class rule. By joining corrupt gangsters behind Narc-Kenya, Kivutha has sold his conscience. He has betrayed his Ukambani people who elected him and who have been living on contaminated yellow maize which, in Europe, is mainly fed to pigs and horses. Although highly educated, Kivutha goes down as an idiot whose political ideals have been taken over by materialist concerns. The yellow maize distributed in Kambaland is laced with toxins which is killing starving wakambas. Instead of addressing these kinds of problems, Kibwana is busy boot-licking Kibaki. The latest news as we write is that 22 people have died in Kamba land as a result of poisoned maize. Throughout history, intellectuals have betrayed the masses at their hour of need. This is not to say that all Kenyan intellectuals are boot-lickers. The point is that an intellectual who is unorganized at a revolutionary level and who has not pledged allegiance to a revolutionary program will betray his/her people at their hour of need. With his understanding of the major issues linked to the anti capitalist struggle in Kenya, one would expect that the likes of Kibwana would be the last to associate themselves with a thieving ruling class. He has not only accepted to work with Kibaki but has also accepted to assume a Ministerial position in a losing regime being seen by millions of Kenyans as “worse than KANU”. Kibwana is one of the lap dogs who supported the Armenian mercenaries who have since been deported from Kenya. KESDEMO would like to remind this traitor and other fake leaders in Kambaland like Ngilu et al that the Movement will continue to expose them at every opportunity. The tendency of intellectuals turning into traitors should stop if Kenya is to be liberated. Although Kibwana has joined Narc-Kenya, the Kamba tribe he comes from has historically been used politically and dumped by different institutions. British colonialists used the Kamba during the first and second world wars while both Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel arap Moi also used members of the community before dumping them. Kibaki has already used Charity Ngilu and dumped her before picking up Kibwana who will also be used and dumped. Paul Ngei, a nationalist and fighter from Kamba land during the colonial revolution who was jailed in Kapenguria prison together with Jomo Kenyatta, was used by both the Kenyatta and Moi dictatorships before being dumped. After he was dumped, Ngei died a pauper – begging in the streets of Nairobi. Philip Kilonzo, former Police Commissioner, was used by Moi to murder former Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Robert Ouko and after he was dumped, Moi’s regime followed and poisoned him to death in his own Hotel in Machakos to prevent the truth about Dr Ouko’s murder from coming out. He was poisoned as he was drinking beer. In both Kikuyu and Kalenjin governments which have been in power, Kambas have systematically been appointed in top positions in the military where they were routinely used to massacre the most marginalized tribes in North Eastern province before being dumped – Ndolo and Mulinge are typical cases. Today, another Kikuyu elite government under Kibaki has appointed a Mkamba general (Kianga) to serve the interest of the capitalist Kikuyu ruling class and there is no argument that he will be dumped after being used. In the meantime, Kambas will continue to starve and live like second class citizens. The view of KESDEMO is that the link between Kibwana and Narc-Kenya is based on greed and self aggrandizement. DANSON MUNGATA A YOUTH BOOT-LICKING OLD GUARDS Danson Mungatana, a lawyer and MP for Garsen who was elected by his marginalized constituents, has betrayed his people and abandoned the struggle for the poor and oppressed people in Garsen. Mungatana has been a member of the so called "Third Force" that has been struggling for the people in Coast province. Initially, the “Third Force” appeared to have been gaining ground. But with the entry of Mungatana into the Narc-Kenya camp, it is safe to argue that Mungata is a sell-out and an idiot. This learned young man has today been bought with money by the Narc-Kenya aka Mount Kenya Mafia gang and is today singing their tune like a kasuku (parrot). KESDEMO appeals to the people of Garsen to vote Mungatana out and replace him with a more progressive person who can fight for the interests and welfare of the down trodden people of Garsen because Mungatana is worshipping Kikuyu’s money. Mungatana is a disappointment and a betrayer of Kenyan youth who expected him to serve as a role model for the youth in politics. Now he has betrayed them nationally and this proves beyond reasonable doubt that the fact that you are a youth does not mean that you are progressive or revolutionary. Looted cash from the tax payer, political bankruptcy, Mercedes Benzes, Jeeps and other fuel guzzling 4WD have destroyed all our youth in positions to influence the political process in a revolutionary direction and Mungatana is just one example. These so called young leaders have fallen into the trap of the old guards where primitive accumulation of property is viewed as a symbol of personal success and prosperity even if property is accumulated with looted money from the tax payer. Mungatana’s constituents are some of the most marginalized and poor in Kenya but he has abandoned them and joined the filthy ruling class in Narc-Kenya. If Kibaki and company deceived, used and dumped politicians like Raila Odinga, Charity Ngilu and others, who is Mungatana? RAPHAEL TUJU: “ANGEL OF DEATH” AKA “MY SON RALF” Raphael Tuju, the sycophantic MP of Rarieda constituency, was a non political quantity before Raila Odinga, the LDP supremo, plucked him from the media, campaigned for him and converted him into an MP. In doing so, Raila’s expectation was that Tuju would become his lap dog and follow in his political foot-steps. Although KESDEMO is opposed to the culture of political God-fathers that has dogged the growth of political consciousness in our country, the Movement’s view is that Tuju’s alignment with known political gangsters in exchange for Cabinet positions was opportunistic. As one of the “young Turks” who is supposed to have understood the dirty political conspiracies of the old guards, and as a new “breed of politician” who was just entering into the scene, the Kenyan youth expected Tuju not just to curve a line of independence but to mobilize the youth into addressing the backbone of the crisis in Kenya. Instead, Tuju allowed himself to be used by the Mount Kenya Mafia to cause the execution of four innocent youths in Kisumu during the November Referendum as the Mafia cartel also tried to use him to split the Orange votes at the Referendum. The deaths of the youths led to Tuju being nick-named “Angel of death” in Kisumu district while his infantile political games back-fired causing him to fail to deliver votes from his constituency at the Referendum. To demonstrate Tuju’s political immaturity, he set up the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) after falling out with Raila’s LDP and even before he can explain what his decrepit party stands for, he is already hopping in the direction of Narc-Kenya, a party of thieves thinking that Rarieda people will be stupid enough to re-elect him back to Parliament. On the basis of the irreversible crisis of capitalism facing Kenya today, a youthful politician of Tuju’s education should be talking about revolution. Instead, Tuju is chasing money from the Kikuyu ruling class which has been setting him up in helicopters in an awkward “show of opulence” when three million Kenyans are facing starvation. When Kibaki sold Kenya’s wild animals to Thailand in another national scandal, It was Tuju (the MP whose common sense has gone down the drain) who was sent to “entertain” the Thai Prime Minister as Kenyans attacked Kibaki and decried the extent to which our country’s leadership had degenerated. During his short stint in politics and to the disappointment of millions of Kenyans, Tuju has increased the population of political prostitutes (Malaya wa siasa) and boot-lickers (Walambaji) in Kenya. Kibaki calls him “My son Ralf” because although he is a Cabinet minister, he behaves like Kibaki’s first born son who likes taking orders from his father. As the Foreign Affairs Minister, he has failed to develop an independent foreign policy. He continues to seek guidance on Foreign policy issues from the British Embassy in Nairobi and since Kibaki, his boss, is a “dead man walking”, Tuju does not have to worry. Just like other politicians being used in the situation, Tuju has failed to learn from history. The Rarieda MP is an advocate of the export of trained manpower to Dubai and other countries where Kenyans work as slaves thereby contributing to the massive brain drain in Kenya. While traitor Tuju has a right to disagree with Raila, his night parties with thieves looting state coffers, and his acceptance of “propaganda Cabinet positions” is, to KESDEMO, a mark of empty-headedness. Instead of championing the interests of the youth, Tuju is championing the interests of his stomach and this brand of politics puts him in the same pit as the old guards who have ran down our country. Just like Mungata, Rashid Shakombo, Cirau Mwakwere et al, Tuju’s case is another pathetic situation where youthfulness alone is not a ticket to the kind of leadership needed to address the crisis in our country. KESDEMO believes that Tuju should never see the inside of Parliament because he is a stumbling block to the tide of revolution in Kenya. KIMENDEERO JOHN MICHUKI: FORMER BRITISH COLONIAL HOME GUARD John Michuki, the former colonial home guard who worked under the most brutal and hated white British colonial boss (Waitina) in the whole of central province during Mau Mau should not even be in government. Michuki’s boss “Waitina” is famous for cutting the tails of dogs in Muranga (formerly Fort Hall - Kangema) and other acts of brutality during the armed struggle against colonialism by the Land and Freedom Army. Michuki's current brutality can be traced back to his days as a colonial District Officer (DO). All his evil doings are in the annals of the true and genuine Kenyan history, not the distorted (fake) British collaborator's version. Today, John Michuki (kimendeero or crusher) is the Minister of Internal Security which, in only three years time, has proven its brutality. During the 2005 November referendum, Michuki ordered his brutal police forces to murder Kenyans in Kisumu and Likoni , a crime which is still very fresh in the minds of Kenyans. KESDEMO will never forgive or forget. The Movement will demand that the next government arrest Michuki, bring him to face justice and, if found guilty, cage him for life in a special high security prison. The brutal attack of the Standard newspaper by hooded Kanga squad led by the so called Armenian mercenaries hired by Michuki and Kibaki, the confiscation of computers and the subsequent burning of Standard newspapers to try and suppress freedom of expression are just but few examples of crimes Michuki has committed during his short stint in government. Michuki is well known for having protected the so called Armenian mercenaries, arrogant individuals who could not have been allowed to behave arrogantly and without respect in any sovereign State. But since Kibaki's government has converted Kenya into a banana republic where foreigners are treated like Gods (especially whites, Asians and Arabs), the Armenians were allowed to import dogs and to set them on CIDs and policemen alike without disturbance. At a time when the Avian flu epidemic had engulfed the world, the Armenians were allowed to import dogs from United Arab Emirates without the canines being quarantined by state authorities concerned. These God-like Armenian creatures humiliated the people of Kenya and the Kenyan Police Commissioner who was barred by the Armenians from entering their compounds. KESDEMO sends deep-felt condolences to all Kenyans for the death of the country’s sovereignty! A CID officer on duty who dared to enter the compound of the Armenians was torn by dogs which were set on him and no action was taken by the government because according to our colonial education system, white people are regarded as “supreme” (mzungu ni kama mungu). That is why in Kenya the likes of Tom Cholmondeley have managed to walk away with cold blooded murder in our country and received special hotel-like treatment while in custody. This is also why a Greek foreigner like Criticos (whose Greek counterparts are known for throwing African stowaways into shark-infested waters) still own, in this time and era, huge pieces of land in Taita Taveta district where thousands of Kenyans do not just work like slaves but where millions are landless. All this is possible because these land grabbers have been enjoying the protection of all past regimes in Kenya from Jomo Kenyatta to Mwai Kibaki. When it comes to corruption, Michuki is one of the top men in the list. The situation is so serious that Michuki did manage to change government policy to be able to profiteer using money looted from the state. This was the case when, as Transport Minister, Michuki introduced compulsory seat belts in Matatus (public service vehicle) and speed governors because his son was in charge of the importation of seat belts in a scum that resulted in Michuki and his fellow thieves raking in millions of Kenyan shillings. This is one of the main reasons why it is impossible to fight corruption in a situation where corrupt members of the capitalist ruling class continue to protect one another's back under the equally corrupt system. In July 2003, Michuki personally ordered the sacking of Mr. Francis Wangusi, former Director of Communications Commission of Kenya in charge of licensing, compliance and standards when Wangusi ordered a raid of Data Global Company that was suspected to have been running an illegal International telephone service that was costing Telekom Kenya millions of shillings. Since the company was linked to a corrupt cartel tied to Kibaki’s government, Wangusi was quickly sent on compulsory leave following Michuki’s orders before his services were terminated. Through corruption, Michuki has amassed enormous amount of wealth which includes ownership of the Country Club Hotel and Windsor Hotel, five star Hotels where members of the corrupt ruling class routinely meet to plan dirty political conspiracies and economic crimes like Anglo-Leasing. KESDEMO has evidence that personalities behind Narc-Kenya are “rotten to the bone” and should not even be in politics in the first place. MWAI KIBAKI: GENERAL KIGUOYA (GENERAL COWARD) AKA “DEAD MAN WALKING” When Mwai Kibaki was elected at the advanced age of 73 when the septuagenarian was supposed to be going into retirement, KESDEMO had no illusions that the mere change of guard could lead to a significant transformation of Kenya. At the time he was elected, Kibaki was already a spent force. Every crisis that Kibaki’s administration has faced has systematically been followed by silence and inaction on the part of the Dictator because of the transitional nature of his Presidency and his reputation as “General Kiguoya” (General coward). When Moi was forced to hand over power to Kibaki at Uhuru Park after losing elections, the ex dictator was not just heckled and booed but was also pelted with all forms of “missiles”. Kibaki’s inaugural speech as he sat on a wheel chair was laced with anti-Moi epithets, giving Kenyans the impression that Kibaki’s view was that Moi was a hopeless leader. Today, Kibaki is back to square one, meeting his former boss freely at state house “to consult”. The agenda in these meetings has been for Kibaki to re-new his real mission to protect Moi’s economic interests and past crimes while at the same time using Moi to destroy or destabilize any progressive movement or Party like ODM trying to offer competition to the President and his henchmen in the struggle for power. Kibaki is one of the wealthiest Kenyans after Moi and the source of wealth is the tax payer's money. Kibaki is not in a position to deliver any election promise because he lacks political will. After dumping election promises, new promises Kibaki made to Kenyans to try and woo votes during the Referendum have all been dumped. These include creation of universities, building of roads, creation of 27 districts in the Rift valley, land re-distribution where the Massai were promised Amboseli National Park and other promises. Kenya is being led by a serial liar who should have resigned as the Head of State under pressure of the masses if a revolutionary movement or party was on the ground. Kibaki is not in power to change Kenya but to serve the interest of foreigners, local bourgeoisie and the thieving ruling class. Kibaki is in power to sell the country and that is the main reason behind privatization which has resulted in the loss of jobs of millions of Kenyans. Kibaki is on the top of the list of land grabbers. In one of his vast pieces of land in Nakuru district, the whole world was shocked to learn that Kibaki had employed young children to crush stones sold for construction of roads when the children were supposed to be going to school. We have a president who sleeps for 16 hours per day and who declared publicly after he took power that he had “stopped drinking alcohol”. KESDEMO asks: With the “Mercenary scandal” playing itself without the President’s intervention, is the Head of State in a permanent state of drunken stupor after reverting to alcoholism? The lethargy which has crippled Kibaki’s ability to deal with multiple and serious crises created by himself and his poodles in government can also be blamed on the President’s senility and if Kenyans cannot wake up to this reality then they should continue to suffer. The President owns mansions and beaches in Coast province, land in Central Province, Laikipia District and Rift valley. He owns industries and five star Hotels while he has big interests in insurance industry, banking industry, distribution networks and other major business concerns in Kenya. The Dictator’s children and close golf associates control vast business empires. The President is therefore, more of a businessman than a leader. He hails from Othaya and now, the President is running Kenya like some “Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society”. What Kibaki has been doing since he took power is to protect his business allies because he has no business trying to change Kenya. This is why the agenda of the Narc-Kenya party is business. Further, Kibaki is surrounded with thieves and robbers who have access to State House, an institution that has become a haven of local and international criminals, money launderers, drug barons, weapon smugglers, mercenaries and other criminals. Although he is supposed to be the Chief captain of Kenya, Kibaki is the Chief protector of leading economic criminals especially those involved in the Anglo Leasing and Goldenberg scandals like Professor George Saitoti, Keitan Somaia, Kamlesh Pattni, Perreira Deepan Kaman, Kanyotu and others who are all Kibaki's business allies and Narc-Kenya supporters. Kibaki failed to show up at the Narc-Kenya inauguration to try and fool Kenyans that he is not involved in the party. However, the truth is that there is nothing happening in Narc-Kenya which Kibaki is not aware of. This septuagenarian should not be given a second chance to fool Kenyans because his time is over. We believe that Kenyans should emulate the people of Nigeria who have refused to allow Dictator Olesegun Obasanjo to return to power on grounds that Obasanjo has failed to deliver. This is the view of KESDEMO. CONCLUSION KESDEMO encourages Kenyans not to give Narc-Kenya a chance. The people of Kenya have been cheated or deceived since flag independence and there is no reason why Kenyans should continue to be cheated. KESDEMO will continue to expose the Narc-Kenya party and its dirty machinations at every opportunity. Narc-Kenya is a party whose ambition is to divide Kenyans on tribal lines in order to split the struggle against capitalism in our country. With the ruling class conjuring political tricks to retain power on the eve of each and every election, the youth in Kenya need to wake up and look for ideas that will stop gangs running the government. KESDEMO believes that regardless of the difficult circumstances, Kenyans who believe in the overthrow of capitalism must begin to examine ways of linking up to set up a revolutionary Socialist Party or movement because an alternative way out of the crisis will not drop like manna from heaven.
